Do you have a dispute that you canโ€™t resolve alone?

A trusted, neutral mediator helping New Mexico families move high-conflict cases toward durable, efficient resolutions โ€”

without the cost, delay, or finality of a courtroom.

Not a ruling.
A conversation,
guided.

THE PRACTICE

Mediation is a voluntary meeting between two or more people in conflict, and a trained mediator who is not part of the conflict.

It is different from going before a judge or an arbitrator, where a ruling is final and often impersonal. We do not make decisions for you. We help you find a solution that works for everyone involved โ€” and we help you write it down so it holds.

The mediator controls the conversation, so it moves forward in a direction both parties agree upon.

The mediator does not give advice, take sides, or invent solutions. Instead, they keep the conversation constructive โ€” empowering the people in the room to voice their concerns and reach resolution on their own terms.

Mediation is always an option before court.

WHEN TO CONSIDER MEDIATION

The dispute continues without resolution.

You want to preserve a relationship the conflict has strained.

The dispute is upsetting and affecting your daily life.

The cost and time of a court case are prohibitive.

You want the chance to voice your concerns directly.

You want resolution without a court or arbitrator's decision.

Reasons people choose mediation over court.

It's confidential

You can still go to court

It's a positive process

You control what's resolved

Ease for everyone

Emotional management

Paperwork assistance

Lower cost

If mediation doesn't solve your needs, litigation remains an open door.

Everyone participates until a mutual agreement is reached.

An agenda is established and every issue is worked through, step by step.

The complexity of litigation is reduced. The process is faster and more direct.

Safe spaces are created for both parties, including separate rooms when needed.

Though we are not lawyers, we can direct you to the correct paperwork in most cases.

Mediation is significantly less expensive than a day in court or other forms of litigation.

A solution that works for everyone involved is not a compromise of what you need โ€”

it is the shape of what you both can live with.
